Hwy 281 road expansion

We are currently working with the state of Texas for a road expasion on Hwy 281.

Pressure station on Dusty Trail

A new pressure boosting station has been planned for our location on Dusty Trail in order to correct low pressure issues for the Village Bend and Inspiration Point areas. Construction of this new station is expected to take approximately 3 months.

Pressure station is now online. January 2021

Hogg Mountain pipeline replacement

A 1.5 mile section of 8" concrete pipeline which serves the northeast quadrant of our system is 35 years old and will need to be upgraded. SPWSC has secured easements to lay a second waterline along the old main. Both will be used until the older line is no longer serviceable.

Updating Office files

One of the current projects that our staff is working on is to update our member files.

Have you experienced a leak or high bill? The new meters currently being installed around our system, are very accurate and have enabled us to locate leaks quickly. We will call members if we have a contact phone number on file.

If there has been a change with your contact phone number, please contact the office as soon as possible so that we may update your file.

What's New

In order to maintain an emergency water supply SPWSC has drilled a total of 10 water wells. Our current estimate is that these 10 wells will be able to produce approximately 250,000 gallons of water per day. While it is not practical to supply our total water need with these wells, these wells will give us some recourse for minimal water service in the event of a severe drought or other disruption to our normal supply. We expect to have 6 of these wells online and producing with the very near future. Further development of the last 4 has been put on temporary hold until economic conditions stabilize.
